A real find in downtown Boerne, Tx. This house is the best example of the worst house on a great street. Backing up to Boerne’s River Road park, this 1940’s home has a ton of potential. The inside has a great, and practical layout, with 8 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, a great fireplace and room for a nice master suite and updated kitchen.
Our plan is to completely redo the front and rear of the house. Adding an extended front porch and removal of the stacked rock front wall. The result will be strong curb appeal, a simple, practical layout, and an extended back playroom / mudroom attached to the updated kitchen. We’ll add a carport and storage in the back, and salvage much of the rock to give us a backyard patio / fireplace. We’re also going to look at some new features including home automation and lighting, tank-less hot water, wifi and music / multi-media incorporated into the home.
Purchased in February ’18, we will start work in March and expect this project to take 6 months.
